The Kikis Court Fan Club (KCFC) successfully climaxed its 6th Anniversary celebrations with a series of impactful activities centered on health advocacy, community engagement, youth participation, and social responsibility within the Volta Region.
The anniversary celebration, held under the theme of unity, wellness, and collective impact, was hosted in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital from 1st - 4th May, 2026. It brought together members of the club from across Ghana, sister social groups, corporate institutions, traditional leaders, youth groups and members of the public for a memorable multi-day homecoming experience in Hohoe and Ho.
One of the major highlights of the anniversary was the Stride for Health walk held on May Day, which drew significant participation from club members, invited social groups, and Senior High School students. The walk sought to promote healthy living, physical wellness, and preventive healthcare awareness while also strengthening community participation and social cohesion.
The Executive Director of the Club, Mr. Christian Adusu-Donkor described the inclusion of Senior High School students as strategic, noting that youth engagement remains central to the club’s long-term vision of empowerment, mentorship, and community transformation.
The celebrations also featured the prestigious 6th Anniversary Dinner and Fundraising Gala hosted at Sunsetgreen Court in Ho. The elegant evening combined entertainment, networking, recognition, and philanthropy as the club officially launched Phase Two of the KCFC Healing Beds Initiative.
The Healing Beds Initiative is a humanitarian intervention aimed at providing comfortable and durable hospital bedsheets to sleep-in health facilities across the Volta Region in order to improve patient comfort, dignity, and healthcare delivery conditions. Following the successful implementation of the first phase within the Hohoe Municipality, the initiative is now being expanded into the Ho Municipality and surrounding communities.
Speaking during the dinner, leadership of KCFC emphasized that the organization is gradually evolving beyond a traditional social club into a structured community impact movement focused on health, welfare, youth development, and social support initiatives.
The Executive Director of KCFC further reiterated the club’s commitment to expanding impactful projects including the KCFC Reading Club, Business Support Fund, KCFC Tertiary Network, Hampers of Hope, and the annual Christmas Festival initiatives.
The anniversary activities also included a welcome ceremony, annual general meeting, awards presentations, networking sessions, live entertainment, and a closing poolside social gathering which strengthened bonds among members and visiting guests.
Over the last six years, KCFC has grown steadily into one of the most vibrant youth-centered social organizations within the Volta Region, using social influence and community networks to drive advocacy, volunteerism, welfare support, and developmental projects.
The President of the Ho Sector of KCFC, Mr. Frank Senyo Attipoe, expressed gratitude to sponsors, organizing partners, patrons, members, volunteers and supporters whose contributions ensured the success of the anniversary celebration.
As part of its forward strategy, KCFC announced plans to deepen its community interventions, strengthen institutional structures, expand its annual Christmas Carols celebrations into Ho and reposition the KCFC Foundation to operate independently as a fully structured NGO focused on sustainable social impact.
The club reaffirmed its motto:
“KCFC — We Aspire to Inspire Together.”
