Hohoe MCE Engages Fodome Chiefs on UHAS Campus, Road Infrastructure, and Vision for Development

Fodome, Hohoe Municipality - The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Hohoe, Hon. Prosper Kumi, has reiterated his commitment to deepening collaboration with traditional leaders and accelerating development across the municipality, especially in the Fodome traditional area.

In a high-level engagement with the chiefs and elders of Fodome, Hon. Kumi, joined by the Coordinating Director, departmental heads, and party executives, received a warm welcome and shared his vision for inclusive and sustainable growth in the area.

“The dialogue was both fruitful and inspiring,” the MCE remarked. “It gave me the opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to completing the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) permanent campus in Fodome, and to push for significant improvements on the Fodome–Hohoe road corridor.”

Both the MCE and the traditional leaders agreed that these two projects are critical not only to Fodome’s progress but to the broader development of Hohoe.

Hon. Kumi emphasized the potential of Fodome to become a key development hub in the municipality if peace and collaboration are maintained. “With unity, we can make Fodome a model for community-led growth, one that feeds directly into the transformation of Hohoe,” he said.

The meeting forms part of the MCE’s continued efforts to strengthen local governance through stakeholder dialogue and to ensure that developmental plans reflect the aspirations and needs of the people.
